With the requirement that we are telecommuting, it is important to have the computer with the best performance and without the problems that often arise. Assistance is, of course, more complicated and therefore some simple steps need to be taken.
It doesn't cost to have Windows 10 faster and with the performance you need. So today we leave 5 simple and quick tips to implement, so that your computer is even better and with better performance.
Probably many have noticed that their computers are getting slower over time. This supposed programmed obsolescence is often the fault of users and the apps they install over time. A simple cleaning often solves the biggest problems.
1 - Stop apps that consume more memory
The first step that any Windows 10 user should take is to check the apps that consume the most memory. These can often be finished or simply exchanged for others, with more suitable consumption.
To detect these apps, open the Task Manager and on the Processes tab, sort by the Memory column. They will quickly identify the most greedy and that can be finished. To do this, click on the right mouse button and choose the End task option.
2 - Remove unnecessary apps from startup
Another important option is in the apps that come with the Windows 10 startup. They should be limited to the essentials so that it can be faster and only have to run what is really necessary and essential.
To see which apps are starting with Windows 10, open Settings and then choose Applications. In the Startup tab you will see which ones are present at that moment. They just need to turn off the switch so they don't start again.
3 - Do not relaunch apps at startup
One of the features of Windows 10 to become faster at startup is to have a list of apps in use and their data. These are ready to be relaunched as soon as the system returns to active, saving the user time.
Of course, they are not always necessary and can be disabled. Access the Accounts option in Settings and then the Login Options tab. At the end you will find the Restart applications and Privacy zone. All options can / should be turned off.
4 - Only a few apps in the background
When not in use, applications must be stopped and no longer consume resources. This should be normal behavior, but sometimes many are pending and waiting to be used.
They can control those apps and define who is waiting. In Settings, in the Privacy area, you will find the Applications tab in the background, almost at the end. Here are the list of apps that can be in the background. Choose which ones are really useful and turn off the rest.
5 - Remove the apps you are not going to use
Finally, and this is one of the most repeated Windows advice, we have the eternal cleaning of Windows 10. All apps that are not needed can and should be removed. In addition to being cleaner, they gain essential storage space.
To perform this cleaning, you must open the Settings and choose Applications. On the Applications and features tab you have the list of apps and just need to choose and then click on Uninstall.
Of course, there are many more simple steps that users can take to further improve Windows 10 and give it greater performance. These are almost essential and easy to implement by anyone, even the least experienced users.
