Meet 10 higher-paid, less stressful jobs

Do you believe that it is not possible to earn well without suffering from anxiety? Read on and find out about the highest paid and least stressful jobs.

Intense work and high levels of stress are not suitable for anyone. Fortunately, for those who would like to work at a more relaxed pace, there are several jobs with good salaries and which also offer environments where the pressure you will have to face will be much less. Business Insider, the North American website, made a list of the highest paid and least stressful jobs.

The North American publication used data made available by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (in Portuguese, Department of Labor Statistics) and the Occupational Information Network (O * NET - Rede de Informação Occupacional).

The study is based on research on the importance of various skills, activities and personal characteristics for a specific job. One of the characteristics measured is the tolerance to pressure, which O * NET describes as jobs that require “accepting criticism and dealing calmly and efficiently with high stress situations”. In this sense, the different professions were classified on a scale from zero to 100, where the lowest number means less stress, followed by the salary earned by each professional.

9 out of 10 jobs are in the areas of math and science, this being one of the main conclusions of the list of the highest paid and least stressed jobs released by Business Insider.

It should be noted that, although the list of the highest paid and least stressed jobs, obviously, concerns the United States of America and the reality of that country is different from that in Portugal, some connections can always be established. And then, who knows if you don't find inspiration here for your future job.
